design partner companies

Each partner company has varying strengths that can be brought to a project.  I don’t really love the term hi/low but that’s what we do. I like to think of it as accessible and investment and these ideas vary per project, person and budget. We do it all. The endpoint is the same; We utilize your budget to make artful choices that also have investment and creative value.

There is power in diversifying your project for its aesthetic endpoint, but also from a pragmatic investment standpoint.  We believe your project will benefit from diversity of thought, pieces, time-periods, price-points and influences. It’s the mix, the algorithm and connection of ideas that makes a room have integrity and visual power. Here are the stores we work with and what we love about them.

1st Dibs: 1st Dibs’s vintage selection is extensive and deftly curated.  It is the first place we go for vintage lighting, accent chairs, art and objects that are high concept.  The materiality, history and resonance of vintage is powerful in a room and shifts the energy of the space. This is where we often find pieces that speak to your soul and maintain or increase in value you will have for life, as you evolve through projects and spaces.

Design with In Reach: DWR has a modern, clean aesthetic that photographs well and works well in most spaces. It’s great in PNW spaces for its clean lines and impressive visual impact. They have excellent accent chairs, decor and art. The mid-century influences are strong so items work well with rentals in the Palm Springs area.

CB2: Cb2 has the best grasp of materiality and artistic expression among their peer price point companies.  The pieces are unique and well-made and have artisanal value and integrity. They are a bit different and higher concept so they can add a unique character to your space.

Crate and Barrel: Clean-lined transitional pieces that work in every home. They have many options that can be customized for size and materiality which helps with a lot of clients. I love Leanne Ford’s line here at Crate & Barrel and their large-scale art is reasonable.

Pottery Barn: Similar to Crate and Barrel with a more traditional feel.

Interior Define:   Their custom made furniture has elevated lines and is well-made. The comfort and quality of the pieces is really high for its price point. The material selection for their custom. work is excellent. I have been looking for great mink brown velvets and there’s far surpassed the competition.

Rejuvenation: A contractor’s dream…this store is excellent for its lighting, fixtures and accents. This store is great to add depth, mood and craftsmanship to a projec

Williams-Sonoma: Great for table-top, dining and small businesses in the food and wine industry. Also, great when we outfit kitchens in short-term rentals.

West Elm: A mid-century bent with great choices in chairs and couches. This does everything well in a reasonable price range. There is great materiality in with velvets, metals, woods and accent pillows at West Elm.
